About our Church
Gilgal Indian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, is a vibrant community that believes in the word of God, the Trinity, salvation through Jesus Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit. The church is led by Pastor Shibu George, who has a background in ministry and was ordained as a pastor in 2013. The church offers various ministries, including fasting prayers and cottage meetings.
Beliefs:
- Word of God: “All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16).
- Trinity: Gilgal Indian Church believes in the Triune God, consisting of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit|
- Salvation through Jesus Christ: The church affirms that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ, as there is no other name under heaven given among men by which they must be saved (Acts 4:12).
- Holy Spirit: Holy Spirit: The church acknowledges the work of the Holy Spirit, as prophesied in Joel 3:28, and believes in the Spirit's role in convicting the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8-13).
